West Regional Analysis – Round of 32

Yale wins its first tournament game! Northern Iowa and VCU both pull “upsets” and the rest remained chalk. This bracket should be fun to watch, but my favorite match-up here is Duke-Yale. The battle of preppiness. Still, go Bulldogs.

Players to watch in the second round: Grayson Allen (Duke), Buddy Hield (Oklahoma), DeAndre Bembry (Saint Joseph’s), Wes Washpun (Northern Iowa).

1 OREGON vs. 8 Saint Joseph’s, Sunday 9:40pm on TBS – Saint Joseph’s is red hot, but I think that that ends here. Oregon just has too much firepower and they are going to outrun Saint Joseph’s for the victory.

12 YALE vs. 4 Duke, Saturday 2:40pm on CBS – Let’s go for it! Yale looked good against Baylor and Duke barely hung on against NC-Wilmington. Why not give them a shot at another upset. I took them once and it paid off, not let’s go do it again. I mean, everyone is rooting for you, maybe even Duke fans. Go Bulldogs!

11 Northern Iowa vs. 3 TEXAS A&M, Sunday 7:40pm on truTV – Gotta love the Panthers as they take another first round victory. However, I love the way the Aggies are playing right now and I feel that they are going to take it to the next level and enter the Sweet 16.

10 VCU vs. 2 OKLAHOMA, Sunday 5:15pm on CBS – Buddy Hield is gonna make this one happen for OU. They will need some scoring down the stretch to ice the win, and there is no one in the country better than Buddy in that situation. He. Gets. Buckets.

And that’s all I have for now, so this is me…signing off. -Lukas.
